Henderson, Nevada,  Henderson has a rich history that dates back to the construction of the Hoover Dam in the 1930s. The dam was built on the Colorado River, which is located just a few miles from Henderson. The construction of the dam brought many workers to the area, and Henderson was established as a place for these workers to live .

Today, Henderson is a thriving city with a population of over 500,000 people. It's home to the Las Vegas Raiders.  It is known for its beautiful parks and trails, including Cornerstone Park, Lake Las Vegas and the River Moutain Loop Trail.
